Yesterday, America’s two icons of conscience, Dennis Kucinich and Willie Nelson, rallied 1,400 supporters at the sold-out Palace Theater in Lorain, Ohio.
The Willie Nelson concert was a spectacular success. Enthusiastic fans of both Dennis and Willie sang along with Willie as he performed, laughed and talked up his support for Dennis in the upcoming election. One excited attendee noted, “Willie’s songs are the soundtrack of America, and he and Dennis are America’s icons of conscience.”
LORAIN — The Willie Nelson concert planned Sunday as a “fun raiser” for U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich is sold out.
Nelson will play to a packed house when he takes the stage at the Lorain Palace Theatre, which sold about 1,400 tickets for the 90-minute show.
Lionel Richie’s star-studded album, ‘Tuskegee,’ will hit stores March 27. The record includes 13 of the iconic singer’s hits, each with a different collaborator. Blake Shelton, Shania Twain, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and Willie Nelson are among a who’s-who list of country stars who teamed up with the Alabama native for the project.
